We are defined by our conversations. Making friends, starting conversations, being able to join in with family and local community events require social, communication and emotional skills we all take for granted.
But some children and adults are slow at developing these essential skills and this can lead to anxiety, frustration, explosive outbursts or retreating into a world of their own.
These young people will often be clinically diagnosed as being on the Autism spectrum, ADHD, OCD, having inflexible behaviour, black and white thinkers or finding it difficult to shift attention. They can be at risk of bullying or exclusion from school.
Our Decipha Team uses a Brief Solution focussed approach to work with children and adults who have lagging Social, Communication and Emotional skills.
We are looking for personalised outcomes and by focusing on what works well with pupils and building on success as the framework for support. We can offer schools a programme that starts with a full assessment and 360 degree review. We can then agree an intervention for 10-16 hours depending on individual need.
Our Decipha Team can offer young people with neurological conditions and their family coaching sessions. We can offer one off sessions for £100 at our Offices in London.
